How legalbuzz measures success in clients won, not traffic reports
Sydney, Australia - October 15, 2026 / legalbuzz /
Press release
SYDNEY and LONDON, 14 October 2026: legalbuzz, a growth partner that works exclusively with law firms, is offering solicitors who have been disappointed by marketing agencies a different arrangement. Performance is measured on the clients a firm actually wins, not on rankings, traffic volumes or lengthy monthly reports.
On the front line of a law firm
legalbuzz was founded by George Levett and PJ Singh, who met while working together at a leading City of London law firm. Both were directly involved in how the firm won new clients: PJ led sales operations, speaking with prospective clients daily, while George managed the firm's digital growth, generating those enquiries through search. Together they observed both sides of the challenge - how clients find a firm, and what persuades them to instruct it.
Conveyancer Plus: the UK's first outsourced conveyancing sales team
The two founders went on to build Conveyancer Plus, the UK's first outsourced conveyancing sales team. It handled enquiries on behalf of law firms and expanded their conveyancing departments at pace, supporting some firms in opening new offices and others in taking on additional case handlers. Conveyancer Plus was paid only when firms won instructions, establishing a performance-first model from the outset.
That structure built confidence. Firms came to understand that when Conveyancer Plus recommended something, it was because it produced results.
From one department to the whole firm
legalbuzz extends that approach beyond conveyancing. It grows firms' other practice areas - from family and employment to probate and commercial - through online strategies designed to generate work across Google, the map pack and AI search, while maintaining the sales expertise that underpinned the original model.
Strong firms going invisible
From the sales side, the founders repeatedly encountered the same issue: capable firms losing work because prospective clients simply could not find them. That problem is intensifying. Clients increasingly turn to ChatGPT, Gemini and Google's AI to identify who to instruct, and act on the name that comes back. A firm that AI does not surface is absent at the precise moment a decision is made.
legalbuzz was established to address that gap, and now works with more than 40 law firms across the UK and Australia.
A sales process, not just traffic
Unlike most SEO and digital marketing agencies, legalbuzz does not stop when the phone rings. Every firm receives a defined sales process for handling enquiries. That matters most for smaller firms, where a receptionist is often managing incoming calls and web enquiries alongside other responsibilities, and potential fee income can fall through the gaps. legalbuzz reviews how each enquiry is handled and followed up, then establishes a process so that the work it generates converts into signed clients.
Generalist agencies work across restaurants, tradespeople and online retailers, learning the legal sector at the client's expense. They do not build law firms. legalbuzz works with law firms only, firms deal directly with the specialists carrying out the work, and every monthly report shows enquiries, consultations and instructions rather than a rankings screenshot with no revenue attached.
We know what clients ask, because we answer them
Few marketing agencies ever speak directly with a law firm's clients. The legalbuzz team has spent years on the phones with them: Conveyancer Plus alone handled 36,463 conveyancing enquiries across 22 UK firms. The team understands the questions a typical person has when trying to engage a solicitor - what it will cost, how long it will take, who will handle the matter, and whether the firm can be trusted.
That understanding shapes everything legalbuzz produces for its firms. Every page, guide and message addresses the questions real clients actually ask, in the language they use.
Be seen. Be trusted. Be chosen.
The legalbuzz tagline describes the three steps every client takes before instructing a firm, and every campaign is built around them.
- Be seen. A client cannot choose a firm they cannot find. legalbuzz ensures firms appear wherever clients search: Google, the map pack, and the AI answers from ChatGPT, Gemini and Google's AI.
- Be trusted. Visibility alone is not enough. Clients - and AI - look for evidence: a named lawyer behind the advice, genuine reviews, credible press coverage, and pages that answer real questions directly.
- Be chosen. The step that generates revenue. legalbuzz measures success in instructions won, and ensures the firm's sales process converts warm enquiries into signed clients.
The approach has produced documented results. A conveyancing firm in Maidenhead grew monthly enquiries from 15 to 77 within six months. A family law firm in Essex increased enquiries by 300%. At an employment law firm in London, the proportion of new enquiries arriving from ChatGPT rose from 0% to 29% in a single quarter.
legalbuzz was also named a Market Influencer on the GoodFirms Leaders Matrix for UK SEO agencies in 2026, rated 5.0 out of 5 from verified client reviews.
Where the passion comes from
"One of our first clients was an owner-operated firm in West London that was struggling and about to shut up shop," said George Levett, co-founder of legalbuzz. "Over the last three years we took over their growth: first the sales side through Conveyancer Plus, then their SEO. They went from owner-operators in one office, about to close, to multiple locations and a team of 10. That's why we do this. Law firms aren't a niche for us. They're in our DNA."
"Law firms have been burned by agencies that take the money and send a report," Levett added. "We started in sales, where you only got paid if the client instructed. We still work that way. We only recommend things that work, and we're judged on the clients our firms win."
"On the phones, you learn that the firm that answers first and follows up properly wins the client," said PJ Singh, co-founder of legalbuzz. "Now that first conversation often happens inside an AI answer, before anyone picks up the phone. Our job is to make sure our firms are in it, and that their team turns those enquiries into instructions."
