This book takes a looks at the precipitating factors that led to the Iran contra affair, such as the Iran Hostage Crisis. In addition, this book looks at the precipitating factors that led to the Jamaican Posse coming to Dallas Texas and how Dallas Texas had an impact on gun running/arms trafficking in America, in the 1980's. This Crime Non-Fiction books consist of true crime, instrumental crimes and expressive crimes events.
The Boland Amendment prohibited the CIA and the Department of Defense from using appropriated funds to provide military equipment, training, advice, or other support to groups seeking to overthrow the Nicaraguan government or provoke military conflict between Nicaragua and Honduras (U.S. Congress, 1982).
Whereas presently the "H.Con.Res.86 - Directing the President, pursuant to section 5(c) of the War Powers Resolution, to remove United States Armed Forces from hostilities with Iran… the War Powers Resolution. (The provision generally requires the President to remove U.S. Armed Forces from hostilities no more than 60 days after the President notifies or is required to notify Congress of such involvement, unless Congress authorizes such use" (U.S. Congress, 2025, para).
