The Floor Store & Design Center Awarded Best Flooring Store in North County

Floor Store & Design Center has earned consecutive Gold awards in The Coast News Best of North County, a recognition that reflects the company's consistent performance within the competitive coastal flooring San Diego market. San Diego's oceanside environment subjects interior flooring to specific stressors, including humidity fluctuations and the abrasive presence of beach sand. With showrooms positioned at three locations across the county - including the Encinitas showroom - the company maintains a specialized coastal inventory accessible to homeowners throughout the region.

5 Coastal Flooring Solutions Available Across 2 San Diego County Locations

1. Moisture-Resistant Luxury Vinyl Plank

Luxury vinyl plank flooring San Diego homeowners frequently request features a 100% waterproof core engineered to resist swelling and warping in high-humidity environments, while replicating authentic hardwood textures. It remains among the most requested products at each Floor Store & Design Center location.

2. Waterproof Engineered Hardwood

For homeowners seeking the appearance of genuine wood, waterproof engineered hardwood is constructed to limit the expansion and contraction caused by marine humidity, making it a practical option for coastal living spaces.

3. Marine Carpeting

Marine-grade carpeting is engineered for high UV resistance and prolonged moisture exposure, making it suitable for sunrooms, covered decks, outdoor-adjacent spaces, and yacht interiors.

4. Wide-Format Coastal Porcelain Tile

5. Performance Underlayment and Acoustic Systems

Licensed In-House Installers & Multi-Award Recognition
