With the recent announcement, Christ Church Academy is now encouraging parents in the area to schedule a tour. Its lower school, which serves kindergarten through fourth grade, offers an academically rigorous, faith-based curriculum that integrates science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM) to nurture curiosity, confidence, and communication skills in young learners.

Last school year, Christ Church Academy relocated to a new building featuring a modern STEAM Lab equipped with robotics tools and a 3D printer, as well as a Black Box Theatre designed for performing arts instruction and live student productions. A grand opening celebration took place in late July 2026.
Leading the new academic year is Amber Mullins, the school’s recently appointed Head of School and former Head of Technology in Education at St. Edward’s School in Vero Beach. Mullins brings a forward-thinking vision that pairs innovation with the school’s mission to educate the whole child, academically, socially, and spiritually.
“Our goal is to inspire students to explore, create, and think critically while grounding their learning in Christian values,” said Mullins. “We’re building an environment where every child feels seen, supported, and challenged to grow.”
The STEAM curriculum follows the Florida State Standards for core content and is delivered by credentialed educators with at least three years of experience. The teachers employ evidence-based strategies to support different learning styles, while the small class sizes allow for personalized attention to each child’s strengths and progress.
Alongside academics, students take part in music, art, and literature programs that build creativity, observation, and communication skills. The inclusion of cursive writing further develops fine motor control and cognitive connections, supporting the Academy’s belief in cultivating both the mind and the body.
Christ Church Academy welcomes families from all faith backgrounds, though theology classes, weekly chapel, and a biblical worldview are integral parts of its community.
One parent shared, “You’re doing a great job. I’m grateful and appreciate you more than you know. It seems like my son is comfortable and loves to be at CCA.”
