ATLANTA - July 12, 2026 - PRLog -- Featuring Taral Hicks, Cortez Smith, C. King, Oshea Russell & Special Guest Vickie Winans

Man Of The House, the emotionally charged stage play written, directed, and produced by award-winning creative A'ndre Davis, is bringing a bold and necessary conversation to stages across the country. The production explores domestic abuse from a rarely discussed perspective when the man is the victim; while opening deeper conversations around masculinity, emotional wellness, relationships, trauma, and healing.

As audiences continue to engage in conversations surrounding Men's Health Month, mental health awareness, and the evolving role of men in relationships and families, Man Of The House arrives as more than a stage play, it's a cultural conversation piece.

The national tour features an all-star cast including:
  • Taral Hicks (Belly, A Bronx Tale) – Atlanta performance
  • Cortez Smith (The Chi)
  • C. King (Wild 'N Out)
  • Oshea Russell (All The Queen's Men)

Special guest appearances by Gospel legend Vickie Winans will take place during select tour stops, including Charlotte and Atlanta. The piece also stars its award-winning Writer/Director/Producer - A'ndre Davis.

A STORY THAT CHALLENGES THE NARRATIVE

At the heart of Man Of The House is a powerful question:
What happens when men suffer in silence?

The production shines a light on emotional trauma, communication breakdowns, pride, vulnerability, and the hidden struggles many men face behind closed doors. Through raw storytelling and layered performances, the play encourages audiences to rethink traditional ideas surrounding strength, relationships, and healing.

"This story is about giving voice to conversations many people are afraid to have," says creator A'ndre Davis. "We want audiences to leave not only entertained, but thinking differently about communication, emotional health, and identifying Domestic Violence when the abuse is verbal and emotional as opposed to physical."
